So basically, I dont have wedding pictures and I am ill, so patience is low and I need a happy reminder of a great time.
Kade, whom I adore so dearly and I, jumped in the Limo after a day we will never forget, and it drove us to our get away car. In the Limo, we could scarcely believe the day was gone!
We changed grabbed our things and off we went!
Once in the car, Mary Jane gave us a breakfast/ celebration baskets with lots of yummy treats.
Haha, we got to the hotel and had some issues since my wallet was in Orange County, but we got all settled into our newly upgraded suite.
The next morning we took our sweet time and around 12 we left for Corando Island.
That evening we went to Old Town San Diego and ate some delicous food and went to the Mormon Battalion exhibit the church has right there in the Old Town State park. I never ceases amaze me what the Saints and their faith in the Lord could achieve.
Monday we went to balboa park and went through the car museum, kade choice of course. It turned out to be pretty cool.
that car above has a toilet washing machine, oven, toaster, phone shower, and you can change a flat without stopping. It has a ton of other cool features, it was my favorite car.
kade super tired...
the suite.
and on the way home, this lovely happened. But overall it was great getaway weekend, and the weather was perfect. We wish we were back there today! but hey we will take what we can get.
until next time!

How fun!! We had a very ideal honeymoon and it makes for such great memories when money is tight and you can't afford a getaway! I hope yours was the same and will provide you with lots of long-lasting memories! Now you know every detail that makes married life better than single life, even if that newlywed phase lasts for awhile :o)
ReplyDeleteNo problem with having that "newlywed phase" last the rest of your lives!! Looks like a great honeymoon trip. Hope you're better from being sick!
