4th of July Vacation {Part one}

Yep, It's true we snuck out of Utah for 5 glorious days in the land of beautiful weather and normal people. We travelled with our friends Pete and Celesta. When we got to CA it was just my dad at home and we had a blast.

Thursday{ The Fourth} we went down to drive along the crowed beaches and see the sights.
I was a tourist all over again, and everyone else enjoyed their first { for kade second or third} time down the historic PCH
Growing up when we would head to the beach we would often stop and eat Pedro's on the way back, its a right of passage :)

We took PCH, down to San Clemente, where we got off and walked our way down to the pier.

Holla beach time!

The thousand of Californian's at the beach enjoying the sunshine and each others company. Love this shot of the solid line of beach umbrellas, every color imaginable.

I love San Clemente/ Linda Lane beach, because you can see right up the cost to Dana Point Harbor.

We then reversed directions and headed up to the Newport Beach temple, which was fun for Kade and I since we haven't been back since we were married!

We then went home and had a fantastic BBQ with my Dad, laid out and swam in the pool{ something to be said about soaking in rays, it does something for this girl's soul}. We watched fireworks in Ladera Ranch, and you could see Aliso Viejo, Dana Point Harbor, Mission Viejo, and Laguna Hills Fireworks.

 Oh yes, I wear a flag shirt on the fourth of July. I am american and I will be proud of where I come from, so to you out there thinking I am cliche..... Go buy your self a t-shirt watch some fireworks enjoy the BBQ, be a proud american!
Then we headed to see the new movie, White House Down. We liked it a lot!
We went home and then called it quits for the day!
