I met Ani way back in 2007, she was on the houseboat when Connor had his big accident at Lake Powell, she drove with Sarah to Flagstaff and on to Phoenix and I am grateful she was there to help my dad get there so fast.
this is her story.
I also want to put in my two-bits, I have worked with the Donate Life float for two years now at the Rose Parade. Unlike the other floats Donate life supplies all of their own volunteers to work their own float. They have t-shirts and name tags and an unsaid love of each other. What makes them special is that each of these sweet people know someone who has received an organ or someone who has donated an organ.
these are great people who have made a choice to help those when they could no longer help themselves.
so here is the page is you are interested,
I am thankful to know this sweet little girls story has inspired lots of people to take a closer look at their lives and restart. I know it helped me, and makes me grateful for my seemingly tiny health problems.
I have been following their blog for awhile now...you know her?
ReplyDeleteYea I do. She dated a family friend for a long time, then ended up marrying her husband now. She was really helpful when my brother had his big accident.
