Funny moments

Poor Kade has been running like crazy these days... Monday through Friday the earliest he is home, is 8:30pm. Which makes our time together super duper short.
But it has also made our conversations less then memorable or they are so chalk full of information that everything has been getting jumbled.
For example we were taking about a tv channel And how it was controversial .... I would have had no idea except that Kade had read it somewhere and told me. .... Fast forward a week... And I mention to Kade the topic and he has NO CLUE what I am talking about... And is convinced I had it with Someone else.... Haha this has happened so many times these last few months.

Carson now blows raspberries ... I now know just how bad I am at this..... We were driving someone honked their horn and out of the back of the car I hear raspberries. Haha really really bad it seems.

Carson manage to kick his play mat over... ( first was an accident 2-6 were not) He refuses to roll. So instead of rolling he scoots everywhere by kicking him self in circles and pulling him self by grabbing whatever is close enough. ( even during tummy time) But the first time he did it, it was so funny! I caught his facial reaction on camera, he was so shocked he looked like this for a full minute.... At least!

And continuing with not rolling, here he is an exact 180 from where I actually laid him down, so he could see me and fake cry. He would be fine then hear me put his head back up and fake cry.... I would walk away and he would wait until I came back to fake cry again.

Here he is in his hat😂hahaha I love the blurry picture, is just shows he never sits still. And the other day I had him propped up on the pillows on our bed and came back in to find him on his tummy .... He went face forward and got his feet out somehow.

Leaving him on the bed is getting close to not being an option anymore.

Just a few little updates for now!

Halloween!

So for Halloween, Carson was Charlie Brown. I was Sally and Kade was supposed to be Linus... But had to take a test instead!

The snoopy doll is from uncle Bennett who we miss more than we can say right now!

He was a bit done at the end of the day!

We just went to a ward party! It was WAAY TOO COLD to to anything else.

Rest of September

Audrey really really wanted Kade's Attention.
Hahaha, I took the bottle out of his mouth.
Playing Airplane... I know he is so perfect!!!
We tried on his hats, and Kade and I could NoT stop laughing.

We went to Utah, and Ty and Alyssa came down with us! We had a really fun time!
His cute outfit from NANA Bailey:)
The new temple in Provo! Gorgeous.
Going to church in his Sperrys.
Face timing with great Grandma and Grandpa Sheppard. I promise he was happy for most of it!
They had this cute program that turns you into a peanut. Since I grew up with such a close attachment to peanuts I had to do it!
We FaceTime with uncle Walker  at least once a day!
Look how cute he is!
Playing airplane outside:)

Audrey, FINALLY, wanted to cuddle with me while I was holding the baby! I had to take a picture.
My awesome Husband pulling double duty, feeding Carson and doing homework.
Poking at me when he should be sleeping. He gives me the most sincere sweet smiles right before he dozes off.
On our walk the other night.

This was hysterical, the people driving both have white hair, and the license cover states," Help! She has farted and I can't escape!"

That's all for now!

2 months!

2 months!!!

Crazy how fast time is flying!

In his second month; he went on two road trips, had his first plane flight, went to 2 other states, is SMILING ( 8/25/2015) and really only gives the biggest best smiles to mommy, is cooing ... again with mommy only, loves tummy time, is super strong and can he his head up for almost a minute. Still needs a blanket near his face to fall asleep. Only gets up at two to eat in the night.

At his two month appointment, he weighed in at 11.7 lbs (22 percentile) 22 inches ( 16 percentile) and his head is 15.5.

His weight to height ratio is 81.7! Haha my boy loves to eat! He is perfectly healthy and did not enjoy his shots!

The best worst thing ever.

Carson took his first road trip and plane flight with mommy this August. We drove from ID to UT caught a flight from UT to CA.

He was great on the plane! He slept so well the flight attendant thought he was a doll.

We went to stay with Grandma and Grandpa Sheppard. We really went though to help Uncle Jackson and Uncle Bennett get packed and on their missions.

We spent Thursday-Sunday playing mostly. spending time with extended family.

Carson went to the beach twice! And LOVED IT. It was probably the best naps  he had the whole time. The waves put him right to sleep.

We met cousin Graham, who is 3 months older than Carson. ( my cousins baby)

We met Great grandma Judy.

We pooped in the bath... Twice... And got in grandmas big tub. Which Carson also loved.... That and that every room practically had a blow dryer.

He met lots and lots of cousins and great aunts.

He spent as much time as he could with Bennett and Jackson. Every time I turned around they were holding him, giving kisses, changing his diapers, feeding him, cooing at him, burping him, napping with him and trying to soothe him.

Let it be known, Sheppard boys never turn away from a baby... In fact the hide them from each other so they get more one on one time.... If they could steal him away from Grandma who came and got him each morning around 7 if not earlier.... Pretty sure he is the only one I know of who got to sleep in grandma and grandpa's bed!  Uncle walker was so so helpful, and uncle Connor didn't want to leave him!

We had been trying all summer to get some family pictures taken.... And as luck wold have it Kade and I were both missing from each other's families being all together!

Well Sunday came and everyone descended on the Sheppard Home ward.
For the twins Benefit;
Stewarts
Oross
Moss
Seamons
Walkers
Barons
Chiles
Neilsons
Sheppards
Stephens
Mordocks
And Gustavo :)
And lots of friends who I don't know, and all of our ward family.

Connor, has since started school already in Hawaii so he had to fly back Sunday. His goodbye with the twins was very emotional and so tender as you can see by the tears in their eyes still.

I think I was having so much fun just hanging out with them it didn't hit me until they were speaking on Sunday.

I was a total mess. The next few days we went to the beach Monday night so that they could surf on last time. That night they stayed at the new beach house. Tuesday came and went like a blur, we rushed getting them packed, their books printed.. More about those later.

About 4pm, they jumped in the pool with their friends and honestly I think it was that silly basic moment I really realized they were grown up. They were still playing the games in the pool that we would go out there and play for hours on end each summer! It was like they hadn't changed a bit. The big difference was is when they came back and played they would be men not boys. It was this crowning moment of the end of being a kid.

We ate dinner, and then they got dressed in their suits and were set apart a few very very emotional hours later. The next morning we got up at the crack of dawn to take them up to LAX.

I am so so proud of them. They have been gone a whole week now. It has been a very lonely quite week. Walker and I kinda came unglued at how quite the house was....so we left.

I have already gone to text them and call them a few times now and well, I cry a little. I went from talking to one of them almost everyday to nothing.... I can't wait to hear all about how amazing they are!

Their blog, is 2x2chileandperu.blogspot.com if you want to hear about their amazing experiences.

Our family is super wide spread now with two being gone. But the added bonus of the week is Bennett didn't email us when he got there but we got an email from our cousin Carter who is at the Mexico MTC and.....
We know he is alive and in his Zone. So cool to be in the Mexico MTC with your Brother and cousin!

Overall it has been the best worst thing ever.

Temple and the twins!

So just before I was set to go down to CA for the twins graduation and for them to go through the temple, I had some issues with me and the baby. Everything was good! My body was just very tired!

So I could only make it to the temple, which was very hard for me to not be there for them, for everything( seminary graduation, high school graduation, the temple)!

So here are all the pictures from our fun weekend.

The temple, was the first time I went through with Connor. The first time for the twins. So cool to be there with everyone but walker! Some day soon though! It was also my first time going through that temple since being married. Sure missed Kade!!!

Since I couldn't be there I stole pictures:)

This was Friday night, after Walker and I grabbed Rubios and went home... My grandpa had to help me get me shoes on! My feet were so swollen! My mom had bought me a large temple dress... And it barely fit! I also had to borrow slippers because my shoes didn't fit!

My sweet grandma and I!
This the picture I sent Kade. Boy I hate doing things without him!
Here we are after:)

This is walker taking selfies on my phone Saturday morning! After my mom treated me to getting my nails done and a neck massage! She spoiled me rotten! I hadn't slept that well in weeks!

We went to lunch and to the Beach with Mary Jane and Daniel. I wore this awesome outfit. Bucket hat one of my brothers work out shirts. Then when I tried to get in the water.... Well let's just say my brothers were getting ready to come save me and I wasn't even in yet....  Haha

These are the stairs they made me climb... You can't even see that the wrap around!
That night my family had stake conference which meant Walker and I got to party!

Anytime we go to in-n-out my dad pretty much always says, " that was the best double-double I have ever had!" We all laugh and pack up in the car. But this night, seriously was the best hamburger I have ever had! Walker and I almost went back to get another one!
Sunday we went to Stake Conference and with everyone's help I made dinner. Then we went down to the Beach house to see the progress and take a look at the sunset... Which we didn't know it was overcast down there yet!
The next morning we went to breakfast and I flew home:)

So proud of my brothers and the decisions they are making!
