Homecoming Talk and 2 mission Calls

We flew in Saturday Night, Mary Jane Picked us up from the airport and we drove straight home to see these two Handsome dudes open up their mission calls.

I love this picture. If only you knew how much. Bennett was called to the Iquitos Peru mission and reports to the Peru MTC on August 12th. Jackson was called to the Osorno Chile MIssion and reports to the Mexico City MTC August 12th.

It's going to be quite the adjustment year for my sweet family! My dad retired. Connor comes home from a mission; jumps back into life and college. I am having a BABY. My sweet brothers leave to serve the lord and Walker will be a lone survivor at home. So this summer my parents have all four boys at home, a grand baby coming and then everyone readjusts to our own courses of life in  August and they only have one kid at home.

Here we all are on the day Connor spoke. He gave a wonderful talk. The spirit was very strong.

We all wore the traditional tongan clothing to church ( except Kade, who couldn't muster wearing a skirt. lame) I had to take mine off during sacrament because of my tummy it would stick straight out like a weapon. We all had a good laugh at my expense!

This is the first picture I have of Kade and I while pregnant. Only took six months!

All day Sunday I sat out in the backyard and chatted with family and soaked up as much sunshine as possible. Got this goofy video while laying out there.

I love this shot. It's how I remember this house, always full with people I love.

Walker and I dog bombed in this photo. Poor puppy kept sniffy my tummy. He KNOWS,

Mary Jane's kiddos stuck by me pretty much the whole day. It was sun fun to see them and chat with them.

Walker and I eating rootbeer floats by the fireplace ( because in normal places it is warm during the day and cools off at night!.. darn idaho never gets warm and is always cold)

Monday; We went to see the cute beach house my parents bought and then went to the beach.

I have never seen sooo much wildlife at home! We saw a seal, dolphins, and a WHALE! I have never seen one at home.

Oh how lovely is this shoreline? I miss it all the time, and the smell of the salty water.

Here is Jackson goofing off riding a wave in.

We didn't have enough time to run home after the beach so we didn't get in. But Kade enjoyed a good nap!

We haven't gotten a picture of all of us since my wedding. So good to be back together!

We grabbed lunch at this Mexican restaurant called South of Nick's and it was amazing!

After we drove straight to the Airport. I may have cried a bit. Sometimes leaving is easy, but this time knowing how short time is with the twins, it was really hard. I think the older I get... the harder it is to leave, I miss them all so much and we only get more and more spread out as the years pass. Soon enough we will be out of Rexburg and be less isolated( and cold)!

Birthday

So because we celebrated my birthday when we went to Disneyland ( because everyone had prior commitments on my birthday) it was a really fun laid back day.

Bennett, Kade, and I were the only ones home all day. We went and grabbed breakfast Burritos at A's that morning. where we saw one of my really good friends!

I played with my puppy for a bit in the morning.

Laid out in the best back yard ever!

The dog joined after a swim in the pool!

Here is a bad panorama of my parents yard.

Then Bennett and I decided to go Surfing! Kade stayed home and did some homework.
We went to San Onofre, where after an hour of riding on my knees I finally caught a wave!

My dad's Response...

My response...

That and the other feat was I still fit in the wet suit I had from high school!

I had so much fun and loved spending my birthday in the water with this guy!

That night after everyone got home, We went to see 3 Days to Kill, which was really funny.

Coming out of the movie I got this!
All the way from tonga!

Came home and opened presents and had birthday cake. We also played this really fun game Called head's up ( it's an app for charades)

( my favorite cake! Baskin Robbins Mint chocolate chip! )

I was so spoiled this weekend! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

9073 Pageviews~

So today, during my usual round of blogging.
I noticed on my home page that our little tiny blog has
9073 pageviews.....

I thought...
since when is what we do that interesting?

so I got curious and started hitting all the "breakdown buttons"..... Here are a few things.

  • The largest source of views come from people google searching, "Mormon Temple's" and since I have posted plenty of pictures of those it is a source of huge traffic that I am willingly to let anymous readers read, its like the Bailey family Missionary work. I was blown away with how many google searches lead to them right to our we believe tab. Right on people keep on coming! The church is true and if you have questions, ask.

  • If you don't have a tab make one, lets use this social dairy network thing we have got going on to spread the gospel. Let me know when you have done it and leave a link! I would love to see your pages!

  • So to all you people reading and not following, nice to know you are there! Suddenly, I am very self conscience about what goes up here since its our lives and I can't know who you are if you don't follow the blog.... So follow subscribe or stop reading! Thanks, for understanding that this our Life. Not a source of entertainment.

until then,
Hayley

Dear Us,

  • Someday when we look back, we will realize that our home is basically perfect, except for when my four brothers come to visit, then we wish we had triple the space. (even though we fit great and we LOVED having them twice!)
  • It is always a better day when my family is in town. We couldn't even mention how good it felt to have them so stinking close and the massive hole in Hayley's heart now that they have returned.
  • Having jobs, "big kid" responsibilities and set schedules has been a hard adjustment for us, but we are finding a schedule slowly but surely
  • We sincerely miss friends being so close. It's been an adjustment finding people to hang out with and do cool things with, but we are finding them and its been fun exploring a new state neither of us have lived in.
  • Packing lunches is not our forte.
  • Decorating the Apartment is a hayley thing, not so much a kade thing
  • Having a huge closet makes hayley immensely happy, lots of space and her clothes all fit
  • We love all of the time we get to spend together after work, our schedules are close enough together to have top gear marathons at night.
  • We are going to Mexico for the week before Christmas and we are stoked vacation that will be even better since it will be in warm weather.
  • We love our life together and it doesn't get much better than this:)

A quick trip

We realized after my family left on Saturday after graduation, we didn't have anything to do or anywhere to be( an awesome feeling, let me tell you!). So we got in the car and headed to Heath and Lety's new house! Which is darling! We had a great time! Seriously the perfect fix for me to relax and laugh after my last semester. Thanks again guys it was great!

Our trip to ca

Well I decided to make this as short as possible by combining the picture as best I could:)

It was such an amazing week, we got there Sunday and that night Connor graduated from seminary and the twins received the achievement award... The name of which completely escapes me...

Then Monday we grabbed some in n out to satisfy some cravings. We also went surfing that morning... Kades first shot:) then that evening Jackson, Bennett, and Walker had their piano recital:) which was fun.
Then Tuesday came fast. We played all day planted some plants in the backyard and ate dinner at the Chart House in Dana Point:) which I was soooo excited about, I love seafood and Kade well doesn't.... so I don't get it that often and that night it was delicious!

On Wednesday was the main event! Connor graduated from high school. So crazy to think he isn't so little anymore in fact it's a bit depressing! Either way I love him more than words and kade does too!

Then it came time to come home Thursday. I honestly was so depressed. Time is always so short with my family and they live so far it's often unbearable to leave. But we are home said goodbye to Carly Jo leaving on her mission went to the air show and got some well deserved r&r :) catch you soon!
